Responsibilities of a RGN within Care Homes

Although positions may vary, typical responsibilities of RGN jobs include:

• The provision and supervision of the delivery of high quality nursing care
• Operating in accordance with up to date, evidence-based professional practice and relevant policies
• Writing, reviewing and implementing care plans
• Administering medication
• Other general nursing duties
• Training and development of care staff under your supervision may also be involved

Who we are looking for

• Driven individuals who have the ability to lead and take instructions
• You must have the ability to work, support and supervise a team of support workers
• RGN with a valid NMC Pin essential
• At least 6 month post qualifying experience
• Clear written and spoken communication
• Flexibility for shift work
